The above are photos of my Bungy jumping during the summer of 1994 in Shediac, New Brunswick. I was not usually too comfortable with heights so I decided the only way to overcome my phobia was to jump approximately eight stories. I jumped that summer four times and each was more exciting than the last. I plan on doing it again soon, this time with a twist: At this site they have a routine called The Executioner where they lead you up the tower blind folded, and you have no idea when you are going to jump till it is too late!
Sky Diving
These pictutres are of my sky jumping during the summer of 1995 in Nova Scotia -- the personal highlight of that summer! I was at the height of 13,000 feet before I bailed out of the airplane and the most nerve-racking part was moving from the inside of the aircraft to the outside! And when the expert on my back said, "Are you ready?" I WAS! It took about thirty seconds to plummet from 13,000 to 5,500 feet where the chute was pulled. From then it took minutes to gently float to the planet Earth. I was informed that during freefall I was travelling at 200 plus KPH! When I finally got on the ground -- long before the airplane landed -- I was elated and pumped up with adrenelin.
These events were both equally exciting and I cannot wait to have
the opportunity of doing both again!
